FRESH is a teaching farm serving Oklahoma City and surrounding areas to raise awareness of and educate school-age children and the public about growing food sustainably. Food safety, food security and environmental stewardship are important factors in knowing where your food comes from and how it is grown.
Our farm is operated by horticulture graduates from local collegiate programs at Oklahoma State University-OKC, Langston University, and Redlands Community College. The FRESH Program enables these graduates to begin farming without having to go into crippling debt to purchase land, equipment, and infrastructure. The farm also serves as a site for collegiate horticulture research and internships.
Launching in January of 2019, the farm will serve as an agri-tourism destination for all ages with learning opportunities, hands on activities, guided tours, workshops, and seminars.
We hope you will have a chance to visit and look forward to introducing you to our farmers and our farms.
See you soon!
